On the set of my PhotoShoot for my Apron Line. Annie Mae’s Apron Line named after my Grandmother & my company . The spirit of my grandmother and my Mama lives in me. So I feel obligated to givegive this my EVERYTHING.

My Annie Mae Apron Line was created by Reuel Riddick. Each Apron will come with a head wrap. We will add to the line creating other cohesive products. Our aprons are made in Brooklyn, NY my birthplace, where my business headquarters are and where I currently reside.

I have so many facets of my business. I started out just creating desserts and I have expanded to food and clothing. Everything I do related to cooking & eating because I absolutely love both. Stay tuned for more things. I feel I haven’t done enough and I have so much more to do…..

Pineapple Cashew Shrimp & Lobster Fried Rice

I LOVE Food…ALL KINDS….ESPECIALLY dishes with seafood. My daughter wanted me to make some fried rice. She then suggested pineapple as an ingredient as well as cashews. MY FAVES as well. I love when I have all the ingredients to make a dish. I’ll even take most of the ingredients. I just had to get green onion. I made the rice a day in advance. Day old cold or frozen rice makes for the BEST fried rice. Day old cold rice is best because it prevents the rice from being overcooked and soggy.

I use Spanish onion. I don’t use yellow onions. I hate the taste. Spanish onions are better. I used fresh pineapple and roasted cashews. I sautéed this in sesame oil and set aside. I added in some fresh corn and scrambled eggs.

I seasoned the seafood with salt & pepper. I LOVE FOOD & FOOD LOVES ME TOO

GREETINGS ALL…Yes it’s been a long while since my last post. I’ve been dedicating this time to vending at quite a few outdoor events here in NYC. This is my Cake In A Jar that does well at events and makes great for shipping. My company Annie Mae’s Bakery is my baby and named after my Grandmother.

So since we’ve done so great with jarring our cake we went ahead and jarred our cheesecakes.

Thee most popular dish we’ve created is our Collard Green Won Tons. We drag our deep fryer around town and fry these babies up. They are Fried to order.. So we’ve been busy cooking….

LAST but not LEAST is our APRON LINE….After working with a friend who happens to be a designer our line launches in July…..PhotoShoot will take place on June 21st……We’ve been BUSY
